I thought I saw an add on here advertising that you can make your own karaoke CD. I don't know how much it costs though.

I haven't come across any but there is a Judy box of concert stuff on dvd that says it can play on both DVD and ordinary CD audio. Not sure if any lyrics though. They really should get their act together and caption the tv series. Although Judy was already a great communicator, any deaf person could get her songs immediately, she sang them and ennunciated them so well.
'Somewhere, over the rainbow, weigh a pie....'

I have 'the sound of music' companion. Is there something similar for Oz or any of Judy's other movies? What I would like is a nice songbook with lyrics and pictures from the film.
I think it is interesting to read about how it was made myself. Apparently the put a lot of publicity into Oz and it still didn't perform as well in the box office as they'd hoped. Only after it was shown on tv it became a phenomen. I think it may have been over-hyped back then. Judy exhausted herself putting in personal appearances. I don't think stars do that anymore for films. What a bonus, having Judy and Mickey sing live for you before the movie. Nowadays they just go on chat shows plugging their books and films.

Here is the website for the sing-along shows www.singalonga.net/I think they are great, cheesy fun. I'd love to go to a Grease one. We used to have Rocky Horror Friday Nights all the time..that show attracts a few er..characters.. Annie is a good one. I'm sure there is an Oz one but it doesn't seem to be on the roster..

PLease write here if interested to have a link. AND I'm interested in having the music sheet/notes/score (or karaoke verison) of "in-between" - can anybody help???
