What is it like? Good experience? What are some of the interesting artefacts in there?

I've been there. I saw ruby slippers (which I don't think are always on display) and the dress from Wizard among lots of other stuff. It was worth the trip. The whole town has a Judy motif. I got a kick out of a sign at a gas station that read "Welcome Judy Garland People."

I definitely have to go one day. Where's the nearest international airport? How long a drive is it?

Along these same lines, has anyone ever been to the Wizard of Oz museum in Kansas?
It's out in the middle of nowhere and I'd never just be in the area unless I was going just for that. Is it even worth it?
-Used to be a regular on this board but haven't been back in a long time. I'm getting back in a Judy mood recently
