Around 1 AM Central on TCM I saw a clip of Judy Garland singing a song to a Remington statue. May not be the correct title for the song but "Goodbye Old Friend" would fit. The statue may have been "The End of the Trail" (that would have been fitting). It appeared to be a tribute to the artist (Remington). Any information would be appreciated.

Hi. I goggled something about it. The song or the movie might be called IF I FORGOT YOU, It might have something to do with raising money for a WILL ROGERS MEMORIAL. It might just be a short subject film and this is all that exists of Judy in it.Betty Davis is in it to and some orchestra. Thanks for drawing it to our attention.Interesting. I am a aficionado of pre Wizard of Oz Judy stuff and I have noticed lots of interesting things. conwention

conwention,
You are (almost) correct. It was "If I Forget You". Other than that you had the details right. Once I Binged the title I found the listing here in the database. The picture shown matches what I remember. I wish I could find a recording of the sound track. Her performance was quite hauntingly beautiful.
Thanks again.
Roy

Hi Roy. I saw the song on " youtube.com " I didn't listen to it ( I try to just keep my mind focused on her music and films before the Wizard of Oz ) I am a fan of her adult career but am afraid of loosing touch with the essence of her power which I feel is in her childhood. Yea man, keep on rockin. conwention
