Dear Anne,
I heard you were picked to play Judy Garland in the new biopic based on Geralde Clarke's book 'Get Happy'.
Just wondering if you know what you are letting yourself in for. Judy's life was really not a bed of roses and I'm not sure it's wise to bring up the past again that would be painful to watch/see/hear for many people, many like to remember her as she was when she was at her best not her worst, and if the past must be reenacted, replayed, maybe its better to have it like Rescue 911 'this is a reocnstruction of her life' rather than a sensationalised tabloised 'entertainment' pic that would only bring shame to her family. I don't know. Your call.
Judy as I know her seemed like two different people, there was a point in her life when she was given a second chance, but at that point something happened to her soul on a spiritual level that I'm not sure you could handle. Try looking up her 'best' friend Betty Asher for the deal on that one.
Anyway that's all I have to say on the topic,
I must say I greatly admire your work and (saw One Day the other day, love the title) have a think,
God Bless Rainbowgirl.
